Emzini Wezinsizwa
''Emzini Wezinsizwa'' is a sitcom that was broadcast on SABC1 in South Africa between 1994 and 2004. It starred Roland Mqwebu, Jabulani Nkosi, Jerry Phele, Shadrack Ngema and Vusi Thanda. Plot The sitcom is about the antics of five adult males who move to a Johannesburg hostel compound to earn a living. They live in Room 8 - the most controversial and popular room of the hostel - and always find themselves on the wrong side of the hostel's authorities. The show ended in August 2003 after three starring actors Roland Mqwebu, Jabulani Nkosi and Jerry Phele were fired for high salary demands and being "rebellious" Vusi Thanda and Shadrack Ngema were only actors to reprise their roles as Tshawe and Magubane . Zulu Language
Zulu (), or isiZulu as an endonym, is a Southern Bantu language of the Nguni branch spoken in Southern Africa. Washington Sixolo ( – June 4, 2017), also credited as Washington Xisolo, was a South African film and television actor best known to audiences for his role of Jwara on the long-running SABC 1 television series, '' Emzini Wezinsizwa''. QwaQwa was a bantustan ("homeland") in the central eastern part of South Africa. It encompassed a very small region of in the east of the former South African province of Orange Free State, bordering Lesotho. Its capital was Phuthaditjhaba. It was the designated homeland of more than 180,000 Sesotho-speaking Basotho people. The frequent snow on the Drakensberg mountain peaks led the San to call the region "Qwa-Qwa" (whiter than white). In Afrikaans it was known as "Witsieshoek", after Oetse (also Witsie and Wetsi), a Makholokoe chief who lived there from 1839 to 1856.
