Emporio (Santorini)
Emporeio ( el, Εμπορείο), also known as Nimborios ( el, Νημποριός), is a village on the island of Santorini, Greece. It is located 12 km from Fira, near the Profitis Ilias Mountains. According to the 2021 census, the community of Emporio has 3,704 permanent inhabitants. The community consists of the villages Emporeio, Perissa, Santorini, Perissa, Agios Georgios and Exomytis. Among other attractions, Emporeio boasts the old Goulas Castle and some churches, such as Saint Nicholas Marmaritis. References Emporio

South Aegean
The South Aegean ( el, Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίου, translit=Periféria Notíou Eyéou, ) is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece. It consists of the Cyclades and Dodecanese island groups in the central and southeastern Aegean Sea. Administration The South Aegean region was established in the 1987 administrative reform. With the 2010 Kallikratis plan, its powers and authority were redefined and extended. Along with the North Aegean region, it is supervised by the Decentralized Administration of the Aegean based at Piraeus. The capital of the region is situated in Ermoupoli on the island of Syros. Thira ( el, Περιφερειακή ενότητα Θήρας) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of South Aegean. The regional unit covers the islands of Thira (Santorini), Anafi, Folegandros, Ios, Sikinos and several smaller islands in the Aegean Sea. Firá ( el, Φηρά, pronounced ) is the modern capital of the Greek Aegean island of Santorini (Thera). Profitis Ilias Mountains
Profitis ( el, Προφήτης) is a village and a community of the Volvi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform, it was part of the municipality of Egnatia, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 935 inhabitants in the village and 996 in the community. The community of Profitis covers an area of 48.806 km2. Perissa, Santorini
Perissa ( el, Περίσσα) is a village on the island of Santorini, Greece. It is located 13 km to the southeast of Fira, near the Messa Vouno rock.
