Emory Rollins School Of Public Health
The Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) is the public health school of Emory University. Founded in 1990, Rollins has more than 1,100 students pursuing master's degrees ( MPH/MSPH) and over 150 students pursuing doctorate degrees (PhD). The school comprises six departments: Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences (BSHES), Biostatistics (BIOS), Environmental Health (EH), Epidemiology (EPI), Global Health (GH), and Health Policy and Management (HPM), as well as an Executive MPH program (EMPH). In addition to pursuing degrees from a single department, students may also participate in joint programs, both within Rollins and in conjunction with other professional schools at Emory (including Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Emory University School of Law, and Goizueta Business School). Richard Randall Rollins (November 5, 1931 – August 17, 2020) was an American billionaire businessman, and the chairman of Rollins Inc., the US's largest pest control conglomerate, which includes the Orkin Exterminating Company. Walter A. Orenstein is the former director of the United States' National Immunization Program, a post he held from May 1993 to January 2004. Education Orenstein has a bachelor's degree from the City College of New York. He went on to receive his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1972. Carlos del Rio (born August 28, 1959 in Mexico) is a distinguished professor of medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He is also a professor of global health and epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University, executive associate dean of Emory University School of Medicine at Grady Health System and co-director of the Emory Center for AIDS Research.
