Emon Mahmud Babu ( bn, ইমন মাহমুদ বাবু, born 3 June 1991) is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bangladesh Premier League club Sheikh Russel KC. Emon has a record of winning hattrick Bangladesh Premier League championship, the first for a Bangladeshi player. He has won 10 trophies in his career, including four league titles, three Independence Cup and three Federation Cup trophies. 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League (football)
The 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League (also known as TVS Bangladesh Premier League for sponsorship reason) is the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007. A total of 13 football clubs will compete in the league. Dhaka Abahani are the defending champions. Bashundhara Kings and NoFeL Sporting Club entered as the promoted teams from the 2017 Bangladesh Championship League. The league was delayed and was rescheduled to start from 18 January 2019. Six venues will host 2019 Bangladesh Premier League. 2 clubs will be relegated to Bangladesh Championship League. 2012 Bangladesh Federation Cup
The 2012 Bangladesh Federation Cup was the 25th edition of the association football competition. It was won by Sheikh Russel KC for their first title, defeating Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club 2-1 in extra time. The competition started on 5 October and finished with the final at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on 22 October. 15 teams took part with the first round being played as a Group Stage, three groups contained four teams with one group of three teams. The top two teams from each group qualified for the Quarter Final Stage.
