Emmanuel Mas
Emmanuel David Mas Sgros (born 15 January 1989 in San Juan) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a left-back for Independiente Rivadavia of the Argentine Primera División. He has been capped internationally eight times for Argentina. Mas began his career at San Martín de San Juan before moving to San Lorenzo where he won the Argentine Primera División 2013 Inicial and 2014 Copa Libertadores. In 2017, he joined Turkish club Trabzonspor, before returning to Argentina with Boca Juniors where he won another two Primera División titles. 2007–08 Argentine Primera División
The Apertura 2007 saw much success for the smaller teams in Argentine football. The eventual champions Lanús won the title for the first time in their history, the first maiden champions since Argentinos Juniors in 1984. Second place went to Tigre, a club playing their first season in the Argentine Primera since 1980 and making their best finish ever in the top flight. The 2014 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2014 presented by Toyota for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations as well as the host nation's league champions. It was hosted by Morocco for the second year in a row, and played from 10 to 20 December 2014. Defending champions Bayern Munich did not qualify as they were eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League by eventual winners Real Madrid. The 2014 Copa Libertadores de América Finals was a two-legged final that decided the winner of the 2014 Copa Libertadores de América, the 55th edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The finals was contested in two-legged home-and-away format between Paraguayan team Nacional and Argentine team San Lorenzo.
