Emma Mullin
Emma Mullin (born 4 March 1985) is an Irish ladies' Gaelic footballer and association footballer. In Gaelic football, she won the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship four times with Mayo GAA. In association football, she has played for the Republic of Ireland women's national football team. Gaelic football career Mullin was part of the Mayo GAA side that lost the 2001 All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship Final, and won the league in 2002. In 2003, she was one of 11 Mayo players nominated for an All Star player award. In 2009, she scored in the GAA National League semi-final, and played in the All-Ireland semi-final. She scored in the 2009 Connacht final, as Mayo beat Galway. In total, she won four All Ireland Championships with Mayo. She also has a Gaelic football coaching qualification. Kilmaine
Kilmaine or Kilmain () is a barony and village in County Mayo, Ireland. Village "Kilmaine", derived from the Irish language 'Cill Mheán', means The Middle Church – 'Cill' is the word used in the Irish language for a church, and 'meán' is the Irish word for middle. The village is located on the N84 road between Shrule and Ballinrobe. The hinterland is entirely rural, made up of farms and scattered houses. 2012 Algarve Cup
The 2012 Algarve Cup was the nineteenth edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It began on 29 February and ended on 7 March 2012. Format The twelve invited teams were split into three groups that played a round-robin tournament. Groups A and B, containing the strongest ranked teams, were the only ones in contention to win the title. The group winners from A and B contested the final, with the runners-up playing for third place and those that finished third in these two groups playing for fifth place. 2013–14 Women's National League (Ireland)
The 2013–14 Women's National League was the third season of the Women's National League. This was the final season the league was sponsored by Bus Éireann. In June 2013 the Football Association of Ireland announced Galway W.F.C. as an expansion team for the upcoming season. Raheny United won their second WNL title and also win the 2013 FAI Women's Cup. Meanwhile, Wexford Youths won their first trophy, the 2014 WNL Cup, with a 3–0 over Castlebar Celtic. Julie-Ann Russell of Peamount United was named 2013–14 Player of the Season. The WNL received international publicity in October 2013 when Stephanie Roche scored an acclaimed goal for Peamount United against Wexford Youths which became popular on YouTube. Footage of the goal was uploaded to the internet by team manager Eileen Gleeson as the matches were not televised. 2011–12 Women's National League (Ireland)
The 2011–12 Women's National League season was the inaugural season of the Women's National League. The season was sponsored by Bus Éireann. Originally seven clubs were invited to join the league. However shortly before the start of the season Bray Wanderers/St. Joseph's pulled out due to a lack of competitive players. This left six teams – Peamount United, Castlebar Celtic, Cork Women's F.C., Raheny United, Shamrock Rovers and Wexford Youths – to play the inaugural season. The season began on 13 November 2011 with Wexford Youths and Castlebar Celtic drawing 2–2, Raheny United defeating Shamrock Rovers 5–0 and Stephanie Roche scoring a hat-trick as Peamount United defeated Cork Women's F.C. 6–1. On 12 February 2012 Roche scored six goals as Peamount United defeated Castlebar Celtic 13–0 at home. The return fixture on 15 April saw Peamount United win 9–0 with Roche scoring another hat-trick.
