Emine Hatun
Emine Hatun ( ota, امینہ خاتون) was a consort of Sultan Mehmed I of the Ottoman Empire. Early life Emine Hatun was born as a Dulkadirid princess, the daughter of Șaban Suli Bey, third ruler of the Beylik of Dulkadir (reign 1386–1398). She had a brother Sadaka Bey, fourth ruler of the Dulkadirs (reign 1398–1399). She was the first cousin of Nasireddin Mehmed Bey fifth ruler of the Dulkadirids (reign 1399–1442). Mehmed Bey's granddaughter Sittişah Hatun, married Mehmed II in 1449 and later her niece Gülbahar Hatun married Bayezid II and became the mother of Selim I. Emine Gümüş (born July 12, 1992) is a Turkish women's football forward, who plays in the Women's Super League for Kdz. Ereğli Belediye Spor with jersey number 77. Emine Çaykara (born 1964) is Turkish writer and historian. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she is a graduate of Istanbul University’s Classical Archeology Faculty. During her studies at Istanbul University she worked at the Ephesus Museum cataloguing ancient sculptures, followed by a two-year participation with an Austrian Archeological Team during their Artemis’ Temple excavation.
