Emily Katherine Booth (born 26 April 1976), also known by her stage name Emily "Bouff" Bouffante, is an English actress and television presenter. Early life Booth was born 26 April 1976 in Chester, Cheshire, growing up in Hastings, East Sussex. Booth studied for three Advanced Level (UK), A levels and a Bachelor of Arts, BA in Media and Film academic degree, degree at Goldsmiths College, University of London. While she was a student, she earned money busking playing the violin and sang on ''Eurotrash (TV series), Eurotrash''. Career Booth is known for her roles in cult films ''Pervirella'', ''Cradle of Fear'', ''Evil Aliens'' and the BAFTA nominated short film ''Inferno (2001 short), Inferno''. FTN (Flextech Television Network) was a television channel from Virgin Media Television (formerly known as Flextech) transmitting free-to-air on Freeview and Virgin Media, and as a subscription channel on Sky. The channel broadcast between 6pm and 6am daily. It launched at 6pm on 15 January 2003, the same day as its Freeview version, UK Bright Ideas, also partially owned by Virgin Media Television. FTN's schedule featured entertainment and reality programming, and also programming from other Virgin Media Television cable channels, such as Living, Living2, Bravo, Bravo 2, Trouble TV, and Challenge TV. MyTV was a British television channel which launched on 27 February 2006 as ''Eat Cinema'', originally targeted at mainstream audiences. L!VE TV was a British television station that was operated by Mirror Group Newspapers on cable television from 12 June 1995 until 5 November 1999. It was later revived for Sky from 2003. ''Banzai'' is a British comedy gambling game show which spoofs Japanese game shows and general television style. It was produced by Radar, part of RDF Media. Each segment of the show is a silly or bizarre contest. Members of the viewing audience were encouraged to bet with each other on the outcome of each segment. Format The show plays off like a betting show. In each segment, a bizarre challenge is presented with a choice of outcomes. Viewers are given a short amount of time to 'place their bets' before the challenge starts.
