Emilio Sosa
Emilio Sosa (born February 23, 1967) is a costume designer for Broadway and is the current Chair for the American Theatre Wing Board of Trustees in New York City. He is a Tony Award nominated costume designer and is best known for his works Topdog/Underdog, Porgy and Bess, and By the Way, Meet Vera Stark. Early life Emilio Sosa was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and grew up in South Bronx, New York City. His interest in fashion and design started at the age of 14. While attending school in Harlem, he spent his afternoons taking art and design classes at Manhattan's Upper East Side. A costume designer is a person who designs costumes for a film, stage production or television show. Wynton Learson Marsalis (born October 18, 1961) is an American trumpeter, composer, teacher, and artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center. He has promoted classical and jazz music, often to young audiences. Toni-Leslie James is an American costume designer for stage, television and film. Desmond Heeley
Desmond Heeley (1 June 1931 - 10 June 2016) was a British set and costume designer who had an active international career in theater, ballet and opera from the late 1940s through the 2010s. Career Heeley was born in Staffordshire, England and began his career as an apprentice designer at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in 1948, and soon established himself as an important designer at that theater and at Sadler's Wells Theatre in London. In 1957, he designed his first set for the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada, with whom he established a very long professional relationship, designing sets for more than 40 productions through 2009.
