Emilio Rodríguez Barros (28 November 1923, Ponteareas, Spain – 21 February 1984, Ponteareas, Spain) was a Spanish professional road bicycle racer from Ponteareas who won the King of the Mountains classification at Vuelta a España three times and captured the overall title at the 1950 Vuelta a España. Rodríguez's two brothers were also professional cyclists - his older brother Delio won the 1945 Vuelta a España and in total won 39 stages at the Vuelta a España. Emilio's other brother Manolo finished second in the general classification of the edition that Emilio won. Emilio Rodríguez (Madrid 1918 - id. 1983) was a Spanish actor. During the Spanish post-war, he worked as a police man and he was a volunteer at División Azul. Between 1950 and 1960 he was a supporting actor. He played Inspector Ballestero in '' Deadfall'' (1968), starring Michael Caine, and Warden in '' Kid Rodelo'' (1966) At the age of 50 he retired for health problems, and then he starred in ''Crónicas de un pueblo'', in the role of the teacher D. Emilio Hector Rodriguez (born September 26, 1950, in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba) is a Cuban-American artist. His current work is abstract painting and fine art photography. He resides in Miami, Florida, USA. Rodríguez was born in the colonial village of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, in 1950. His family moved to La Habana in 1953. He started drawing and experimenting with oil paint and tempera at the age of 12. While a student at the Instituto Pre-Universitario de Marianao (Marianao Senior High School), he participated in several workshops sponsored by San Alejandro Arts Academy. Biography Rodriguez began painting with acrylic guided by the Cuban painter Dominica Alcántara in 2005 at the “Latin Quarter Cultural Center” in Miami. Abstract painting became his last interest and passion. He has been painting abstracts since 2007.
