Emilio Fraia
Emilio Fraia (born 1982 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian writer, editor and journalist. He worked as editor-in-chief and literature editor for ''Trip (magazine), Trip'' magazine, as a visual arts editor for ''Bravo! Magazine'', and collaborated with Piauí (magazine), ''Piauí'' magazine. He edited the literary magazine Givago, which published new authors between 1999 and 2005. Between 2009 and 2013 he was a literature editor for publisher Cosac Naify. As of 2019 he works for Companhia das Letras. In 2008, together with Vanessa Barbara, he wrote his first novel ''O Verão do Chibo'', finalist of that year's São Paulo Literature Prize. In 2012, Fraia was one of the authors selected for the collection The Best Young Brazilian Writers of the British magazine Granta. In 2013 he wrote the graphic novel Campo em Branco, illustrated by DW Ribatski. ''Trip'' is a Brazilian magazine first published in 1986. Founded by Paulo Lima and Carlos Sarli, the magazine originated from the radio program Trip 89. CTV Drama Channel (formerly known as Bravo) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by Bell Media. The channel was founded as the Canadian version of the U.S. channel Bravo (which is now owned by NBCUniversal) on January 1, 1995 by Moses Znaimer and its owner CHUM Limited, and originally focused on performing arts, drama, and independent film. Cosac Naify
Cosac Naify () was a Brazilian publishing house which operated from 1996 to 2015. Founded by Charles Cosac and Michael Naify, the publisher became known about their luxury designed art, humanities, novels and children's books; Charles Cosac described the house as a "cult publishing house, whose books are destined to scholars and art students". Cosac Naify debuted with the book ''Barroco de lírios'', by the artist Tunga. The house published books by novelists such as Alejandro Zambra, valter hugo mãe, Enrique Vila-Matas, Karen Blixen, Herman Melville, Leo Tolstoy, and Victor Hugo. Vanessa Barbara (born June 14, 1982) is a Brazilian journalist and author. She is a columnist for the newspaper O ''Estado de S. Paulo'', having also written for the magazine ''piauí'' and the newspaper ''Folha de S. Paulo''. Her articles are also featured in the ''International New York Times''.
