Emilia Krakowska (born 20 February 1940 in Poznań) is Polish entertainer, film and theater actress. Biography She graduated from the high school in Drezdenko and the Theatre Academy in Warsaw (1963). She worked in the following theaters: Powszechny in Warsaw (1964-1968), National (1968-1978), Contemporary in Warsaw (1978-1985) and Variety in Warsaw (1985-1991) and Teatr Powszechny in. Jan Kochanowski in Radom in 2008; Wroclaw Comedy Theatre, Drama Theatre; Alexander Hungarian Bialystok and the New Theatre in Slupsk. She consolidated her film actress career in a number of television series. In the 1980s, she was a member of the National Council for Culture. She belonged to a group of actors who boycotted the Polish stage after the introduction of martial law in 1981.. The Wedding (1972 Film)
''Wesele (The Wedding)'' is a motion picture made in 1972 in Poland by Andrzej Wajda as an adaptation of a play by the same title written by Stanisław Wyspiański in 1901. Wajda also directed "Wesele" for the theatre. "Wesele" is a defining work of Polish drama written at the turn of the 20th century. It describes the perils of the national drive toward self-determination after the Polish uprisings of November 1830 and January 1863, the result of the Partitions of Poland. It also refers to the Galician slaughter of 1846. Filmweb is an online database of information related to films, television series, actors and film crew personnel. Since 2011, the database also contains video games. Filmweb was launched on March 18, 1998. It is a Polish-language site, and the largest Polish film database. History Filmweb was created by Artur Gortych, and launched on March 18, 1998. On January 20, 2000, it became the first Polish website available through Wireless Application Protocol. In 2005, Filmweb PRO (aimed at entertainment professionals) was launched. On May 20, 2010, the beta version of the website was launched, and Filmweb also started to use a new algorithm, called Gustomierz (''Tastemeter''). Registered users, that have rated at least 50 movies, are able to see how much particular movie is supposed to be liked by them and to find taste similar users.
