Emil Koshlukov
Emil Iliev Koshlukov ( bg, Емил Илиев Кошлуков; born 26 October 1965) is a Bulgarian journalist, media manager and former politician. Life Born in Pazardzhik, Koshlukov graduated from the English language high school in Plovdiv in 1985 and subsequently studied English philology at Sofia University. Between 1991 and 1996, he was also enrolled as a political science student at the University of California in Santa Barbara. In 1989, he was one of the leading figures behind the formation of the first independent student organizations in communist Bulgaria and participated in civil disobedience campaigns against the government. After being affiliated with the UDF in the early 1990s, in 2001 Koshlukov was elected to the National Parliament for the first time as part of NDSV. Pazardzhik
Pazardzhik ( bg, Пазарджик ) is a city situated along the banks of the Maritsa river, southern Bulgaria. It is the capital of Pazardzhik Province and centre for the homonymous Pazardzhik Municipality. The Tatars founded Pazardzhik in the end of the XIV century, which they named it ''Tatar-Pazardzhik''. The population was predominantly muslim. The National Movement for Stability and Progress ( bg, Национално движение за стабилност и възход, translit=Natsionalno dvizhenie za stabilnost i vazhod, NDSV) is a liberal, populist political party in Bulgaria. It was known as the National Movement Simeon II ( bg, Национално движение „Симеон Втори“, translit=Natsionalno dvizhenie "Simeon Vtori") until 3 June 2007. The party was created as a personal vehicle of Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (Simeon II), the deposed Tsar, for his successful bid to become Prime Minister of Bulgaria in 2001. The Bulgarian National Television ( Bulgarian: Българска национална телевизия, ''Balgarska natsionalna televizia'') or BNT (БНТ), stylized as ·Б·Н·Т· since 2018, is a public television broadcaster of Bulgaria. BNT was founded in 1959 and started broadcasting on December 26 of the same year. It was the first television service to broadcast on the territory of Bulgaria. Nova, stylized as NOVA and previously marketed as NTV or Nova Television, is a Bulgarian free-to-air television network launched on 16 July 1994 ( 28 years ago ). Nova TV, alongside the channels Kino Nova, Nova Sport, DIEMA, Diema Family and Diema Sport are part of Nova Broadcasting Group and owned by United Group. On 31 July 2008, Swedish media conglomerate Modern Times Group bought Nova TV from Antenna Group for €620 million. The deal was completed on 16 October 2008. ''VIP Brother'' is a Bulgarian reality television game show in which a number of celebrity contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize or collecting money for charity. The first three seasons of the show to date have aired in the spring (started in March) in 2006, 2007 and 2009, and last six seasons (commencing on September) in the autumn. The show is a spin-off of the original series '' Big Brother''. There are a number of differences between ''Big Brother'' and ''VIP Brother''. For example, ''VIP Brother'' lasts for a shorter time than ''Big Brother'' - seasons 1 and 2 lasted for 4 and 5 weeks, respectively. ''VIP Brother 3'' was the third season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. It was launched on Nova Television on 16 March 2009, and ended on 10 May 2009 with an eleven-hour season finale starting at 3:00 pm and finishing after 1:00 am. This season was confirmed on 31 December 2008 by Niki Kanchev, who returned as a host. He announced that the season would start in March 2009. Later on the same day, Nova Television aired the first promo with the slogan ''Celebrities change destinies''. The show is produced by Niko Tuparev (''Old School Productions'') again. All the money from SMS votes were donated to charity, and there was no cash prize for the winner. Also, this season was longer than the previous two. The National Assembly ( bg, Народно събрание, Narodno sabranie) is the unicameral parliament and legislative body of the Republic of Bulgaria. The National Assembly was established in 1879 with the Tarnovo Constitution.
