Emil Alexandrescu Stadium
The Emil Alexandrescu Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Iași, Romania. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home field of Politehnica Iași. The stadium is named after the former CSMS Iași player and Iași Mayor, Emil Alexandrescu. Its original capacity was 12,500 seats but after plastic seats were mounted the capacity was reduced to 11,390 seats. It is the 35th stadium in the country by capacity. Copou Park
The Copou Park or Copou Gardens is the oldest public park in Iaşi, Romania. Its development started in 1834 under the reign of Mihail Sturdza, making the park one of the first public gardens in Romania and a Iaşi landmark. In its centre lies the Obelisk of Lions (1834), a tall obelisk dedicated to Regulamentul Organic, the first law on political, administrative and juridical organization in the Romanian Principalities. Asociația Club Sportiv Municipal Politehnica Iași (), commonly known as Politehnica Iași or simply Poli Iași, is a Romanian professional Association football, football Club (organization), club based in the city of Iași, Iași County, which plays in the Liga II.
