''Emergency!'' is an American Action fiction, action-adventure medical drama television series jointly produced by Mark VII Limited and Universal Television. Debuting on NBC as a midseason replacement on January 15, 1972, replacing the two short-lived situation comedy series ''The Partners'' and ''The Good Life (1971 TV series), The Good Life'', it ran for a total of 122 episodes until May 28, 1977, with six additional two-hour television films during the next two years, 1978 and 1979. The series stars Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe as two rescuers, who work as paramedics and firefighters in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Hannah Louise Shearer
Hannah Louise Shearer (born August 25, 1945), also known as Hannah Shearer or Hannah L. Shearer, is a writer who was credited with writing five episodes whilst on the staff of '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'' and an episode of '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine''. She was also a writer and producer for ''Emergency!'' and ''Knight Rider''. Career One of her first roles in television was as a production assistant on NBC's '' Sierra'' in 1974. She went on to become a writer and producer for ''Emergency!'', which had crossed over with ''Sierra''. She was also the writer for the pilot episode of ''Quail Lake'' which was intended to replace ''Emergency!'' but never went past a pilot entitled "Pine Canyon is Burning". Tim Donnelly (actor)
Timothy David Donnelly (September 3, 1944 – September 17, 2021) was an American film and television actor. He was perhaps best known for playing the role as fireman Chet Kelly in NBC's ''Emergency!''. Life and career Donnelly was born in Los Angeles on September 3, 1944, as the son of Eileen, a homemaker and Paul, an assistant director. His maternal grandfather was actor J. Pat O'Malley. He began his career in 1957, appearing in the film ''Baby Face Nelson''. Later in his career, Donnelly appeared in films and television programs, as his credits include ''Hawaii Five-O'', ''The Secret of Santa Vittoria'', '' Adam-12'', ''The Legend of Jesse James'' and '' The Virginian''. Vince House (July 21, 1929 – July 18, 2002) was an American film and television actor. He appeared in over 100 films and television programs, and was perhaps best known for playing the co-starring role of "Motorcycle Officer Vince" in NBC's ''Emergency!'' and as "Mr. Peter Butler" in ''Mr. Novak''.
