Emelie Ölander
Emelie Ölander (born 23 June 1989) is a Swedish international football player. She has been part of the Swedish national team since 2009. Career At the age of five, Emelie Ölander started to play football in the youth team of Malmö FF. Some years later she became a national youth player for Sweden. Her first season in the Swedish women's league ''Damallsvenskan'', she played for Malmö FF, but left the team after only one year. She moved to AIK where she played a season as defender and was invited to the Swedish national team. Malmö Fotbollförening, commonly known as Malmö FF, Malmö, or MFF, is a professional football club and the most successful football club in Sweden in terms of trophies won. AIK Fotboll Damer is a Swedish women's association football club from Stockholm, currently competing in the Damallsvenskan. The team, a section of AIK, is affiliated to the Stockholms Fotbollförbund and plays in the Skytteholms IP in Solna, Stockholm. Founded in 1970, AIK first earned promotion to the Damallsvenskan in 1992, and avoided relegation for two seasons before ending second to last in 1995. A decade passed before the team was back for the 2005 season. AIK was promptly relegated but earned its third promotion the next year. Damallsvenskan Players
The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. From 2013, the Damallsvenskan began operating on a system of promotion and relegation with the Elitettan. The two lowest placed teams are relegated to the Elitettan, and the two highest placed teams from the Elitettan are promoted in their place.
