Kfar Blum
Kfar Blum ( he, כְּפַר בְּלוּם, ''lit.'' Blum Village) is a kibbutz in the Hula Valley part of the Upper Galilee in Israel. Located about southeast of the town of Kiryat Shmona, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In it had a population of . History Kibbutz Kfar Blum was founded in November 1943 by the Labor Zionist Habonim (now Habonim Dror) youth movement, adjacent to the Palestinian village of Al-Salihiyya. The founding members of the kibbutz were primarily from the United Kingdom, South Africa, the United States and the Baltic countries. Upper Galilee
The Upper Galilee ( he, הגליל העליון, ''HaGalil Ha'Elyon''; ar, الجليل الأعلى, ''Al Jaleel Al A'alaa'') is a geographical-political term in use since the end of the Second Temple period. Tom Kenji Maayan ( he, תום מעיין; born July 5, 1993) is an Israeli professional basketball player who last played for Hapoel Gilboa Galil of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Seton Hall University before playing professionally in Israel. Maayan, A 1.88m (6'2") tall combo guard, is primarily known for his defensive skills.
