Emek Movie Theater ( tr, Emek Sineması) was a historical movie hall located in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. History The movie theater began construction in 1884 under the name "Club des Chasseurs de Constantinople" (Hunters Club of Constantinople), and first opened its doors in 1924 under the name ''Melek Sineması'' (Angel Cinema) because of the Art Nouveau style angel figures on the screen. Beyoğlu
Beyoğlu (, ota, بكاوغلی, script=Arab) is a district on the European side of İstanbul, Turkey, separated from the old city (historic peninsula of Constantinople) by the Golden Horn.
