Arnold Emch
Arnold F. Emch (24 March 1871 – 1959) was an American mathematician, known for his work on the inscribed square problem. Emch received his Ph.D. in 1895 at the University of Kansas under the supervision of Henry Byron Newson. In the late 1890s until 1905 he was an assistant professor of graphic mathematics in the school of engineering at the Kansas State Agricultural College (now Kansas State University). In 1905 Emch became a professor of mathematics at the Kantonsschule in Solothurn, Switzerland. In 1908 Emch gave a lecture at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Rome. Enam Medical College & Hospital (EMCH) ( bn, এনাম মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতাল) is a Private university, private medical school in Bangladesh, established in 2003. It is located in Savar, Dhaka. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka as a constituent college. History Enam clinic was established in 1989 by Md Enamur Rahman. It was established as a medical college and renamed to Enam Medical College and Hospital in 2003 in Savar Upazila, Savar, Dhaka District, Bangladesh. Garment workers from the 2013 Savar building collapse were treated in Enam Medical College. Academics The college offers a five-year course of study, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka University.
