Emanuel And The Fear
Emanuel and the Fear is an American symphonic rock band founded in Brooklyn in 2008 by frontman Emanuel Ayvas. History In 2009, the band released their first self-titled EP on Paper Garden Records. The 5-track EP was executive produced by Jamin Gilbert (for Ishlab Music) and featured the band's first hit 'Jimme's Song.' The band toured extensively to promote the record, playing large shows and festivals, including CMJ and the Northside Festival in New York, and Pop Montreal in Canada. In 2010, they released their first full-length record, ''Listen'', consisting of nineteen tracks, which includes some short tracks of random sounds and background noises. The record was produced and edited by Jamin Gilbert (for Ishlab Music) and Emanuel Ayvas. Patrick Dillett, who previously worked with David Byrne, They Might Be Giants and Mary J. ''Fearless Music'' was a televised musical showcase broadcast between 2004 and 2010 which featured live performances from up-and-coming acts, primarily from the alternative rock and indie rock circuits. It was filmed at the Crash Mansion rock club in New York City. The show aired at 12:30am on Saturdays on WNYW Fox 5 and was syndicated in over 200 cities in the United States, 350 college TV stations, and worldwide through Voice of America. History The show was founded by its producer and lead host, Jamie Lamm, whose career as a multi-instrumentalist had been inspired by rock documentaries and musical showcase series that aired when he was younger, including The Midnight Special and The Old Grey Whistle Test. Wilco
Wilco is an American alternative rock band based in Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 1994 by the remaining members of alternative country group Uncle Tupelo following singer Jay Farrar's departure. Wilco's lineup changed frequently during its first decade, with only singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirratt remaining from the original incarnation. Beirut is an American band that was originally the solo musical project of Zach Condon. Beirut's music combines elements of indie rock and world music. The band's first performance with the full brass section was in New York, in May 2006, in support of their debut album ''Gulag Orkestar'', but performed their first show with Condon, Petree, and Collins at the College of Santa Fe earlier that year. Condon named the band after Lebanon's capital, because of the city's history of conflict and as a place where cultures collide.
