''Elétrica'' ( Portuguese for ''"Electric"'') is the first live album (fifth overall) by Brazilian singer-songwriter Daniela Mercury, released in October 1998 through Epic Records (her last with that label). Daniela Mercury (born Daniela Mercuri de Almeida on July 28, 1965) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, actress and television host. In her solo career, Mercury has sold over 20 million records worldwide and had 24 Top 10 singles in the country, with 14 of them reached No. 1. Winner of a Latin Grammy for her album '' Balé Mulato – Ao Vivo'', she also received six Brazilian Music Award, an APCA award, three Multishow Brazilian Music Awards and two awards at VMB: Best Music Video and Photography. "O Canto da Cidade" (Portuguese for ''"The Chant of the Town"'') is a song co-written and performed by Brazilian singer Daniela Mercury. ''Feijão com Arroz'' (Portuguese language, Portuguese for ''Rice and beans'') is the fourth studio album by Daniela Mercury, released in 1996 in Brazil and on January 14, 1997 in North America and Europe through Sony Music. ''Feijão com Arroz'' was the second best-selling album of Mercury's career, and which produced more hit songs in Brazilian radios, only behind ''O Canto da Cidade'' (1992). ''Sol da Liberdade'' (Portuguese language, Portuguese for ''Sun of freedom'') is the fifth studio album by Daniela Mercury, released in April 2000 in Brazil through Bertelsmann Music Group, BMG. Francisco Buarque de Hollanda (born 19 June 1944), popularly known simply as Chico Buarque, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, playwright, writer, and poet.
