Elvir Rahimić
Elvir Rahimić (born 4 April 1976) is a Bosnian football coach and former professional player who spent the majority of his career playing for Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow. He is currently a coach for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Club career Rahimić started his career with the football club Slaven Živinice in his hometown Živinice. In 1994, he was signed by NK Bosna. In 1997, Rahimić moved to Slovenia for Interblock Ljubljana, then Austrian side SK Vorwärts Steyr before he moved to Russia. The greatest accomplishment for Rahimić has been winning the 2005 UEFA Cup (by beating Sporting Lisbon 3–1 in the Final at Estádio José Alvalade) and participation in the 2005 UEFA Super Cup. Rahimić is one of the most decorated Bosnian players, having won 18 trophies with CSKA Moscow during his 12-year spell with the club. Estádio José Alvalade
Estádio José Alvalade is a football stadium in Lisbon, Portugal, home of Sporting Clube de Portugal. It was built adjacent to the site of the older stadium. The stadium is named after José Alvalade (1885–1918), the founder and first club member of Sporting CP in the early twentieth century. United States Men's National Soccer Team
The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. The team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation and is a member of FIFA and CONCACAF. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held over 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012, held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, with matches set to take place between August 2010 and November 2011. There were nine groups. Six of these groups had six teams (one each from pots 1 to 6 below); the remaining three groups consisted of five teams (one each from pots 1 to 5 below). 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualification (UEFA)
The European zone of qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup saw 53 teams competing for 13 places at the finals in South Africa. The qualification process started on 20 August 2008, nearly two months after the end of UEFA Euro 2008, and ended on 18 November 2009. The qualification process saw the first competitive matches of Montenegro. Denmark, England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, and Switzerland qualified in the first round by winning their groups.
