Else Breen
Else Breen (born 15 March 1927) is a Norwegian children's writer, novelist and literary scientist. Biography Breen was born in Molde on 15 March 1927. She made her literary breakthrough in 1970 with the children's book ', about the teenage girl Mia and her family. In the sequel ' (1975), Mia is a couple of years older. The short story collection ' (1978) treats subjects such as rootlessness and the feeling of being different. Among her further books for children are ''?'' from 1981, ' from 1983 and ' from 1992. Her books for adults include the novels ' from 1987 and ' from 1994. She has written a book on children's literature and a biographical book on Jens Zetlitz Jens Zetlitz (26 January 1761 – 14 January 1821) was a Norwegian priest and poet. Molde
Molde () is a town and municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Romsdal. It is located on the Romsdal Peninsula, surrounding the Fannefjord and Moldefjord. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Molde which is also the administrative centre of Møre og Romsdal county, the commercial hub of the Romsdal region, and the seat of the Diocese of Møre. Children's literature or juvenile literature includes stories, books, magazines, and poems that are created for children. Modern children's literature is classified in two different ways: genre or the intended age of the reader. Jens Zetlitz
Jens Zetlitz (26 January 1761 – 14 January 1821) was a Norwegian priest and poet. Zetlitz was born at Stavanger in Rogaland, Norway. At the close of the 18th century he traveled to the University of Copenhagen to study theology. He became a member of The Norwegian Society (''Det Norske Selskab'') and became well known for his entertaining songs and drinking songs. He returned to Norway after completing his studies and entering the ministry. From 1800 Zetlitz was parish pastor and vicar at Vikedal in Ryfylke and from 1811 at Kviteseid in Telemark until his death in 1821. He married Maren Elisabeth Bull (1761-1801). Their daughter Axeliane Christine (1792-1855) married businessperson and consul Jacob Kielland (1788–1863). The couple had five sons and five daughters.
