''Heaven is Round the Corner'' is a 1944 British musical film, directed by Maclean Rogers. It was made by British National Films, starring Will Fyffe, Leni Lynn, Leslie Perrins, and Austin Trevor. The script was written by Austin Melford. Plot A country girl goes to Paris to sing professionally, where she falls in love with a member of the British Embassy. ''School for Randle'' is a 1949 British comedy film directed by John E. Blakeley and starring Frank Randle, Dan Young and Alec Pleon. The plot concerns a school caretaker who turns out to be the father of one of the pupils. When she runs away from home to pursue a career on the stage, he goes to persuade her to come back to school. The title is a reference to the Richard Brinsley Sheridan play ''The School for Scandal''.
