Eloise Jones (footballer)
Eloise Jones (born 28 April 1999) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Early life and state football In addition to football, Jones also played basketball before her AFLW career, while playing her junior football at Morphettville Park. At the 2017 AFL Women's Under 18 Championships she captained the Allies and was named as part of the championships' All-Australian team. Before being drafted, Jones was part of Adelaide's Girls High Performance Squad. She turned down a college basketball scholarship in the United States in order to focus on football, and she played for Glenelg in the inaugural season of the SANFL Women's League (SANFLW), kicking six goals for them in five games. Jones joined NT Thunder for the VFL Women's (VFLW) season during the off-season of the AFLW following the 2018 season. She played seven games for them in 2018. Morphettville Park Football Club
The Morphettville Park Football Club is a sports club first formed in 1958 and initial games were against sides who had forfeits or byes. The club is mostly known for their Australian rules football team, which joined the Glenelg-South-West District Football Association A2 Division in 1959. Other sports practised at Morphettville Park are cricket and netball. History After winning the A2 Premiership in 1963, Morphettville Park were promoted to the A1 division where they remained until the competition, then known as the Southern Metropolitan Football League, folded at the end of the 1986 season. Brisbane Lions
The Brisbane Lions is a professional Australian rules football club based in Brisbane, Queensland, that plays in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was formed in late 1996 via a merger of the Melbourne-based 1883 foundation VFL club the Fitzroy Lions, and the 1987 Queensland based expansion club the Brisbane Bears, with the colours of maroon, blue, and gold being drawn from both parent clubs. Erin Victoria Phillips (born 19 May 1985) is an Australian rules footballer for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition, a radio host, and a former professional basketball player. The NAB AFL Women's Under-18 Championships are the annual national Australian rules football championships for women players aged 18 years or younger. The competition is seen as one of the main pathways towards being drafted into a team in the professional AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Rebecca 'Bec' Goddard is an Australian rules football coach currently serving as the head coach of the Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Goddard also previously coached Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW) between 2017 and 2018, winning the 2017 AFL Women's Grand Final. She was assistant coach of the University of Canberra Capitals in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) in 2018/19, when it won the league championship. VFL Women's
VFL Women's (VFLW) is the major state-level women's Australian rules football league in Victoria. The league initially comprised the six premier division clubs and the top four division 1 clubs from the now-defunct Victorian Women's Football League (VWFL), and has since evolved into what is also the second primary competition for AFL Women's (AFLW) clubs in Victoria. Northern Territory Football Club
Northern Territory Football Club, nicknamed NT Thunder, was a Northern Territory-based Australian rules football club that competed in the North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) between 2011 and 2019. It also competed in the VFL Women's in 2018-19.
