Elliot James Wilson (born 10 November 1979) is an English cricketer, born in erthyr Tydfil, Wales He represented his country in 1995 playing for the Welsh Schoolboys and then the Wales Amateur XI on five occasions in 2000. He has played three List A games, all in the C&G Trophy: one for Warwickshire Cricket Board in 2002, and two for Lincolnshire in 2003 and 2004. Elliott Wilson (cricketer)
Elliott James Wilson (born 3 November 1976) is a former English cricketer who played county cricket for Worcestershire. He was born in St Pancras, London and educated at Felsted School. He studied at Durham University. A good all round schoolboy sportsman playing representative rugby and hockey, captaining ESCA South schools at cricket. While at university he played for Worcestershire and British Universities scoring 85 and 49 against the 1999 New Zealand cricket team that went on to beat the England cricket team in that summer's test series. Wilson made his first-team debut for Worcestershire against Northamptonshire in July 1998. Later that month he scored 61 in his first game opening the batting against reigning World Champions Sri Lankans, and two days later was selected to make his first-class debut against Yorkshire. C&G Trophy
The Friends Provident Trophy was a one-day cricket competition in the United Kingdom. It was one of the four tournaments in which the eighteen first-class counties competed each season. They were joined by teams from Scotland and Ireland. Lancashire won the title a record seven times. The competition has previously been known as the C&G Trophy (2000–2006), the NatWest Trophy (1981–2000) and the Gillette Cup (1963–1980). For a short period following the 2006 season, the competition was known as the ECB One-Day Trophy because no sponsors were forthcoming when Cheltenham and Gloucester decided to end their association with the competition after the 2006 season. Matthew Maynard
Matthew Peter Maynard, (born 21 March 1966) is an English cricket coach and former cricketer. He played in four Tests and fourteen ODIs for England. Maynard was a batsman (and, later in his career, wicketkeeper) known for his aggressive and dashing strokeplay. His first-class career with Glamorgan, saw him achieve a batting average of 42.53, take 372 catches and make seven stumpings with the gloves, earned him several caps for England, but he was never able to translate his county form into Test success. He was named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1998. He was the second batsman for Glamorgan to score a century on debut in a first-class match. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Hertford
Hertford ( ) is the county town of Hertfordshire, England, and is also a civil parish in the East Hertfordshire district of the county. The parish had a population of 26,783 at the 2011 census. Glamorgan County Cricket Club ( cy, Criced Morgannwg) is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan ( cy, Morgannwg).
