Elliot F. Kaye
Elliot F. Kaye is a former Chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. He served as a commissioner of the agency from 2014 through 2021, and was chairman from 2014 to 2017 under the Obama administration, directing the U.S. government's oversight and recall of everyday products that can cause injury or death. Early life and a J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law in 2004. Early career After graduating from Northwestern, Kaye worked on staff for three U.S. Representatives -- Earl Hutto (D, Fla.), Pat Danner (D, Mo.), and John F.
