The Ellenbrook line, known as the Morley–Ellenbrook line during construction, is a suburban railway line in Perth, Western Australia, which is operated by the Public Transport Authority (Western Australia), Public Transport Authority as part of the Transperth system. The line branches from the Midland line, Perth, Midland line at Bayswater railway station, Perth, Bayswater station and heads north-north-west to serve five stations along a route to Ellenbrook, Western Australia, Ellenbrook. Ellenbrook line services continue west of Bayswater station alongside Midland and Airport line, Perth, Airport line services to terminate at Perth railway station, Perth station in the central business district. Land for a transit line to Ellenbrook was reserved in the 1990s during the first stages of the development of Ellenbrook as a "master planned community". Tonkin Highway is an north–south highway and partial freeway in Perth, Western Australia, linking Perth Airport and Kewdale, Western Australia, Kewdale with the city's north-eastern and south-eastern suburbs. Bayswater Railway Station, Perth
Bayswater railway station is a suburban rail station in Bayswater, Western Australia, Bayswater, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is the junction station for Transperth's Midland line, Perth, Midland, Airport line, Perth, Airport, and Ellenbrook line, Ellenbrook lines. Noranda Railway Station
Noranda railway station is a suburban rail station that is part of the Transperth network. It opened in 2024 as a station on the Ellenbrook line, serving the Perth suburbs of Beechboro, Kiara and Noranda. It is in the median of Tonkin Highway, just north of Benara Road. History In August 2019, the location of the station was revealed. In November 2019, Metronet did a community survey to decide where to put the station car park. The three options were south-west, north-west or north-east of Benara Road and Tonkin Highway. In the end, the north-east option was the most preferred option, with 66% of respondents preferring that option. The reasons included that it does not require a signalised intersection unlike the other options, and it had the largest amount of car bays of the three options. Morley Railway Station, Perth
Morley railway station is a suburban railway station on the Ellenbrook line in Embleton, Western Australia, Embleton and Morley, Western Australia, Morley, suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Located in the median strip of Tonkin Highway at the Broun Avenue flyover, Morley station consists of an island platform at ground level with entrances on both sides of the Broun Avenue bridge. A bus interchange is located on the southern side of the bridge and a multi-storey car park is to the south-west. Early works under the Tonkin Gap project started in November 2020, which included the replacement of the Broun Avenue bridge, which occurred throughout 2022.
