Ellen Weinberg-Hughes
Ellen Weinberg-Hughes (; born July 8, 1969) is an American former ice hockey player. She competed internationally for the US women's national team at the 1992 Women's World Championship, capturing a silver medal while being named to the tournament's all-star team. She played collegiate hockey, lacrosse and soccer for the University of New Hampshire. She was inducted into the UNH Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012. After her playing career was over, she served as an assistant coach at UNH for the soccer and ice hockey teams, while attending graduate school. She also served as an advisor to Norway's women's hockey team in 1994. Luke Hughes (ice Hockey)
Luke Warren Hughes (born September 9, 2003) is an American ice hockey defenseman for the University of Michigan of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was selected fourth overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Hughes committed to play college ice hockey for the University of Michigan during the 2021–22 season. Hughes led the league in goals scored with 13 in conference play, and recorded nine assists for 22 points, the second most points in the league play behind Matty Beniers. He led the nation's defensemen in scoring with 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points in 37 games and is a +25. He set several Michigan program records this season. The New Jersey Devils are a professional sports, professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. The Devils compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference (NHL), Eastern Conference. The 2019 NHL Entry Draft was the 57th NHL Entry Draft. The draft was held on June 21–22, 2019 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Jack Hughes (born May 14, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey center and alternate captain for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). Quintin Hughes (born October 14, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hughes was drafted seventh overall by the Canucks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to the draft, he was considered a top prospect player.
