Ellen Story is an American state legislator who served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Early life Story lived in Texas before moving to Amherst in 1972. She earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Texas. Story worked for the Family Planning Council of Western Massachusetts for 17 years. She also served on the Amherst School Committee. The Massachusetts House of Representatives 3rd Hampshire District or "3rd Hampshire" is an electoral district for the Massachusetts House of Representatives. It consists of the towns of Amherst, Pelham and precinct 1 of Granby. Democrat Mindy Domb of Amherst has represented the district since 2019. The current district geographic boundary overlaps with those of the Massachusetts Senate's 1st Hampden and Hampshire district and Hampshire, Franklin and Worcester district. Stan Rosenberg
Stanley C. Rosenberg (born November 12, 1949) is an American politician who served as President of the Massachusetts Senate from January 2015 until December 2017. Rosenberg was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1986 and served as the representative for Amherst and Pelham until 1991 when he won a special election for the State Senate seat being vacated by Congressman John Olver. A Democrat, Rosenberg resigned from the Senate on May 4, 2018, amidst a sexual harassment scandal involving his husband, Bryon Hefner.
