Ella Gibson
Ella Gibson (born 7 June 2000) is a British archer competing in compound events. She won the gold medal in the women's compound event at the 2022 European Indoor Archery Championships held in Laško, Slovenia. She also won the gold medal in the women's compound event at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, Alabama, United States. Early life Gibson first tried archery in October 2014 and she joined an archery club in June 2015. Career At the 2019 World Archery Youth Championships held in Madrid, Spain, she won the bronze medal in the women's junior compound team event. In November 2019, Gibson set a new world record for the women's 60-arrow 18-metre indoor ranking round with a total of 596 out of 600 points at the GT Open held in Strassen, Luxembourg. The record stood for approximately three weeks as Sarah Prieels of Belgium set a new record of 597 out of 600 points in December 2019. Modern competitive archery involves shooting arrows at a target for accuracy and precision from a set distance or distances. Sara López
Sara José López Bueno (born 24 April 1995), is a Colombian athlete who competes in compound archery. She first competed for the Colombian national team in 2011 Pre-Olympic event in Medellin, Colombia. She won medals at several editions of the World Games. At the FITA Archery World Cup in 2013, she qualified for the final. She rose to her highest world ranking of 3 in 2013, and her major achievements include winning the 2014 Archery World Cup. As well as competing internationally in archery, she is a medical student. López is the current world record holder for a 15-arrow round and other 10 world records, having become the first woman to shoot a perfect 150 at stage 3 of the World Cup in Medellin. Song Yun-soo (born 10 December 1995) is a South Korean compound archer. She began learning archery in 2011 and made her international debut in 2015. Career She competed at the 2015 Summer Universiade games winning gold medals in the women's individual event and the mixed team event alongside Kim Jong-ho and a bronze medal in the women's team event alongside Kim Yun-hee and Seol Da-yeong. 2019 World Archery Youth Championships
The 2019 World Archery Youth Championships was the 17th edition of World Youth Archery Championships. The event was held in Madrid, Spain 19-25 August 2019, and was organised by World Archery.
