Sacramento Pride is an American women's soccer team, founded in 2001. The team is a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, the third tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. The team plays in the North Division of the Pacific Conference. The team plays its home games in the stadium on the campus of Oakmont High School Oakmont High School is located at 1710 Cirby Way, in Roseville, California, United States. Oakmont HS Stadium
Oakmont is a borough in Allegheny County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is a Pittsburgh suburb and part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The population was 6,303 as of the 2010 Census. Incorporated as a town in 1889, this Allegheny River community began in 1816 when a farmer, Michael Bright, bought a large tract of land northeast of Pittsburgh. Stephanie Renee Cox (; born April 3, 1986) is an American soccer coach and former professional player who played as a defender. She is currently the interim head coach of the Puget Sound Loggers women's soccer team. As a player, Cox played as a defender for the United States women's national soccer team and won an Olympic gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Early life Born in Los Gatos, California, Cox grew up in Elk Grove, California and attended Elk Grove High School where she helped lead her soccer team to two league championships. Elk Grove is a city in Sacramento County, California, located just south of the state capital of Sacramento. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade– Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Elk Grove High School is a public four-year high school located in Elk Grove, California, in the United States. It is part of the Elk Grove Unified School District and serves the southeast end of Elk Grove that is to the right of California State Route 99 and below Sheldon Road.
