Eliška Staňková (born 11 November 1984 in Kraslice) is a Czech athlete specialising in the discus throw. She represented her country at four consecutive European Championships, her best placing being 10th in 2014. Her personal best in the event is 60.48 metres set in Kolín in 2016. Kraslice
Kraslice (; german: Graslitz) is a town in Sokolov District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,500 inhabitants. It was a large and important town until the World War II. It is known for manufacture of musical instruments. The women's discus throw at the 2019 World Athletics Championships was held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar, from 2 to 4 October 2019. Summary In the finals, Feng Bin threw 62.48m as the first thrower in the ring. The next thrower was world leader Yaime Pérez, who promptly took the lead with a 68.10m. Three throwers later, defending champion and double Olympic champion Sandra Perković threw 66.72m to take over second place. Those three held their positions until the end of the second round, when 2015 World Championships in Athletics – Women's discus throw, 2015 champion Denia Caballero dropped in a 66.80m to move into silver position. In fact, the three over 66 and a half metres would be the only ones over 63.50m all day. 2019 World Athletics Championships
The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics. It was held between 27 September and 6 October 2019 in Doha, Qatar, at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium, but reduced to 21,000 available seats. 1,772 athletes from 206 teams competed in 49 athletics events over the ten-day competition, comprising 24 events each for men and women, plus a mixed relay.
