Elizabeth Hill (swimmer)
Mary Elizabeth Hill (born November 8, 1985) is a former freestyle swimmer from the United States, who won the gold medal in the women's 400-metre freestyle event at the 2003 Pan American Games. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she also won gold in the 800-metre free relay at the 2005 Summer Universiade, and finished fifth in the 200-metre freestyle and seventh in the 200-metre butterfly. In 2005 Hill also took seventh in the 200-metre butterfly and eighth in the 200-metre freestyle at the U.S. World Championship Trials. Elizabeth Hill (screenwriter)
Elizabeth Hill (February 27, 1901 – August 21, 1978) was an American screenwriter and the third wife of King Vidor. Biography Origins Hill was born in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. When she was 20, she married her first husband. She moved to Hollywood and gained work as a studio stenographer, and eventually made her way to a script-girl role. Career Hill and Vidor fell in love on the set of '' Bird of Paradise'' in 1932; at the time, Hill was divorced, but Vidor was married to actress Eleanor Boardman. Boardman secured a divorce in 1933. In 1933, there were rumours circulating around Hollywood that Hill had disappeared, but columnist Louella Parsons investigated and found that Hill was still working as a script girl alongside Vidor. Vidor and Hill's ongoing relationship was the subject of many gossip items until the two got married in Mexico in 1937. Denny Hill And Liz Hill
Dennis "Denny" Hill is a hall-of-fame swim coach who coached at Pioneer High School (Ann Arbor, Michigan) for 46 years (1969-2014 Men's Head Coach and 1973-2010 Women's Head Coach). During this tenure as coach, Pioneer High School won 31 Michigan High School State Swim Championships (15 for the men and 16 for the women) and 9 National Dual Meet (Power Points) Championships. The combined teams' overall dual meet record was 1011-128-2 (567-90 for the men and 444-38-2 for the women. The swim program produced 245 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) All-American Swimmers for a total of 862 All-American awards. Denny's wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Hill began coaching with him in 1983 and became co-head coach of the Pioneer men's and women's swim teams in 2005. The 1996 U.S. Figure Skating Championships took place between January 13 and 21, 1996 in San Jose, California. Skaters competed in five disciplines across three levels. The disciplines of the competition were men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, ice dancing, and compulsory figures Compulsory figures or school figures were formerly a segment of figure skating, and gave the sport its name. Elizabeth Hill Boone (born September 6, 1948) is an American art historian, ethnohistorian and academic, specialising in the study of Latin American art and in particular the early colonial and pre-Columbian art, iconography and pictorial codices associated with the Mixtec, Aztec and other Mesoamerican cultures in the central Mexican region. Her extensive published research covers investigations into the nature of Aztec writing, the symbolism and structure of Aztec art and iconography and the interpretation of Mixtec and Aztec codices.
