Elizabeth Filippouli
Elizabeth H. Filippouli is a London-based journalist, writer and social entrepreneur. Early life Elizabeth was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She is the daughter of the journalist, author, and playwright Stamatios-Alexandros Filippoulis (:el:Σταμάτης Φιλιππούλης, Σταμάτης Φιλιππούλης) and antiques dealer Ελένη Φιλιππούλη. Her uncle on her father’s side was the pioneering Greek publisher (:el: Αλέκος Φιλιππὀπουλος) and her great-great aunt was Μαρίκα Μπότση the first woman who was elected mayor in Greece. Peter Gregg Arnett (born 13 November 1934) is a New Zealand-born American journalist. He is known for his coverage of the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. He was awarded the 1966 Pulitzer Prize in International Reporting for his work in Vietnam from 1962 to 1965, mostly reporting for the Associated Press. Arnett also worked for ''National Geographic'' magazine, and later for various television networks, most notably for nearly two decades at CNN. Arnett published a memoir, ''Live from the Battlefield: From Vietnam to Baghdad, 35 Years in the World's War Zones'' (1994). In March 1997, Arnett interviewed Osama bin Laden, leader of Al-Qaeda. Alberto Juantorena (born 3 December 1950) is a Cuban former runner. He is the only athlete to win both the 400 and 800 m Olympic titles, which he achieved in 1976. Enrique Oltuski Osacki (18 October 1930 — 16 December 2012) was a Cuban government minister who participated in the Cuban Revolution. Biography Oltuski was born in the city of Kobryn, then within the boundaries of Poland, currently part of Belarus. At four years of age Oltuski emigrated to Cuba with his father, a Jewish shoemaker.
