Education In 2009, Fetterhoff graduated with a BS degree in political science from Florida State University. Career Fetterhoff served in the Florida Army National Guard. Fetterhoff was a legislative assistant to Senator Dorothy Hukill. Fetterhoff is a government affairs director for the New Smyrna Beach Board of Realtor. Fetterhoff narrowly defeated Michael Cantu on August 28, 2018, in the Republican primary, winning by just 81 votes. Hukill (September 20, 1946 – October 2, 2018) was an American politician who was a Republican member in the Florida Senate who represented parts of the Volusia County area from 2012 until her death in 2018. The Florida Army National Guard is Florida's component of the United States Army and the United States National Guard.
