Elitsa Kostova ( bg, Елица Костова) (born 10 April 1990) is a former professional Bulgarian tennis player. On 12 September 2016, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of No. 130, achieved on 12 September 2016, her best doubles ranking is world No. 154, reached on 26 October 2015. Playing for Bulgaria Fed Cup team, she has a win–loss record of 16–18. Career At the $25k tournament in Wellington, New Zealand, held in November 2010, Kostova, ranked 254 in the world, achieved her greatest victory in her career. She defeated world No. 42, Jarmila Groth, in the semifinals in two sets. In the final, she lost to world No. 241, Erika Sema, in three sets. Kostova won her first match in a WTA Tour main draw by beating Alizé Lim at the 2014 Bucharest Open, after coming through the qualifying competition. Todorova formed the duo Elitsa & Stoyan and they represented Bulgaria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, and once again represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö. Elitsa and Stoyan ( bg, Елица и Стоян) are a Bulgarian music duo. In 2007, Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov were the entry for Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Their 5th place with the song "Water", was the highest Bulgaria had placed until the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. In March 2013 the duo were selected to represent Bulgaria for a second time at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, in Malmö, Sweden. They performed in the second semi-final on 16 May 2013 with the song " Samo Shampioni", but did not qualify for the final. Career Elitsa and Stoyan met in 2003. Elitsa Vasileva (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Елица Василева; born 13 May 1990 in Dupnitsa) is an international volleyball player from Bulgaria. Career She has represented CSKA Sofia and also played in the Italian, Brazilian, South Korean, and Turkish top-level leagues. In December 2013, during her time in South Korea, Vasileva achieved 57 points in a single match, setting a world record. Elitsa Atanasova Yankova ( bg, Елица Атанасова Янкова, 18 September 1994) is a Bulgaria Bulgaria (; bg, България, Bǎlgariya), officially the Republic of Bulgaria,, ) is a country in Southeast Europe.
