Elisso Virsaladze
Eliso Virsaladze ( ka, ელისო ვირსალაძე; born September 14, 1942) is a Georgian pianist. Biography She was born in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR. Her father Constantine Virsaladze was a prominent doctor and scientist, so was her grandfather Spiridon Virsaladze. She received her first piano lessons at the age of 9 from her grandmother, Anastasia Virsaladze, a well-known pianist and professor in Georgia. From the age of 9, she also started receiving lessons from Heinrich Neuhaus up until his last days. She graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatory (Class of Anastasia Virsaladze), and continued her education as a postgraduate student at the Moscow Conservatory with Yakov Zak. She has also played for A. Goldenweiser and N. Perelman many times. The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is an international piano competition specializing in the music championed by Arthur Rubinstein. The competition has been held every three years in Tel Aviv, Israel since 1974. Tony Yike Yang (born December 7, 1998) is a Canadian-Chinese pianist. Early life and education Yang was born in Chongqing, China to Chinese parents. He and his parents immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2004. He began piano studies at the age of five with his mother who was his first teacher. Later on, he studied at the Juilliard Pre-College with Julian Martin as a full-scholarship student, and The Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy of The Royal Conservatory of Music with James Anagnoson. Dmitry Igorevich Shishkin (russian: Дмитрий Игоревич Шишкин), born 12 February 1992, is a Russian classical pianist. He is best known for winning the 2nd prize at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2019. In 2018 he won 1st prize at the Geneva International Music Competition. He was also awarded 6th prize at the XVIIth International Chopin Piano Competition in 2015. Jong Hwa Park () is a South Korean pianist. He was prized at the 1995 Queen Elisabeth Competition (5th) and the 1996 Concorso Busoni (4th) before being awarded the 1998 Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition's 2nd prize. Early life and education Park was born on September 22, 1974. When he was a boy, Park attended Preparatory School of Tokyo Music College in Japan and then moved to the United States to attend Preparatory School of New England Conservatory. Alexei Zuev
Alexey Zuev (Russian: Алексей Зуев), born 28 April 1982 in Leningrad (today St. Petersburg), is a Russian pianist. His education as a pianist began at the age of seven at a special conservatory for gifted children in St. Petersburg. In 1999 he won the second prize of the International Prokofiev Competition for piano in St. Petersburg. A first prize wasn't awarded then. Beginning in 2000 Zuev studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Alexei Lubimov and since 2007 with Eliso Virsaladze in Munich. Aleksandar Madžar (born in Belgrade, 1968) is a Serbian pianist. Madžar first studied piano with Gordana Malinović, Arbo Valdma and Eliso Virsaladze in Belgrade and Moscow, then with Edouard Mirzoian at the Strasbourg Conservatory and in Brussels with Daniel Blumenthal. Boris Vadimovich Berezovsky (russian: Борис Вадимович Березовский; born 4 January 1969) is a Russian pianist. Biography Berezovsky's original name was Elyashberg, Boris Vadimovich.
