Eliseo Quintanilla
Eliseo Antonio Quintanilla Ortíz (born 5 February 1983) is a former Salvadoran professional footballer. Club career Nicknamed ''Cheyo'', Quintanilla started his professional career at Salvadorian giants FAS, making his professional debut in 1999 at age 16. In 2001, he moved to rivals Águila and while with them, he played in a friendly in Los Angeles. Major League Soccer The management at Major League Soccer outfit D.C. United watched the game tapes and signed the small playmaker with the club in 2002. Injuries however curtailed his MLS career. He scored just five goals and five assists in two years in the league, missing all of 2004 with an injury, and was subsequently released. Santa Tecla, El Salvador
Santa Tecla () is a municipality in the La Libertad Department (El Salvador), La Libertad department of El Salvador. It is the capital of the department of La Libertad. The city was named after Thecla, Saint Thecla who was a saint of the early Christian Church, and a reported follower of Paul of Tarsus in the 1st century AD. 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup
The UNCAF Nations Cup 2009 was the tenth edition of the UNCAF Nations Cup, the biennial football (soccer) tournament for the CONCACAF-affiliated national teams of Central America. The first five places qualified for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The event was going to take place in Panama City, Panama between January 22 and February 1, 2009, but the Panamanian FA announced that they would not host the event due to not having an adequate stadium available for the time period of the tournament. The alternative hosts were Honduras and Guatemala. Honduras submitted an official replacement bid on November 12, and after some consideration it was moved to Honduras.
