Elise Bethge-Truhn
Elise Bethge-Truhn, born Anna Marie Elisabeth Truhn (4 March 1838 – 12 January 1889) was a German actress and playwright. Life Born in Berlin, Bethge-Truhn, the daughter of the royal music director Friedrich Hieronymus Truhn, who had no objection to his daughter turning to the stage, first took acting lessons with Auguste Crelinger, then with Sophie Schröder in Hamburg, and entered the stage for the first time in 1854 in Stettin. In 1855, she worked at the city theatre in Riga, and in 1856 at the court theatre in Schwerin. In Schwerin itself she appeared on 2 December 1875 as Britta in the play ''Karin von Schweden'', which she had written herself. She gained a good reputation not only as a stage artist but also as a playwright. Bethge-Truhn died in Lübeck at the age of 50. Friedrich Hieronymus Truhn
Friedrich Hieronymus Truhn (14 November 1811 – 30 April 1886) was a German conductor, composer and writer on music who worked mainly in Berlin, Danzig, Elbing and Riga. He was the son of court marshall Nathanael Truhn and the grandfather of Selma Erdmann-Jesnitzer, born Bethge-Truhn, father of Clara and Anna Marie Elizabeth Truhn. He was a talented composer of numerous songs, several stage works, and also a key organizer in the field of men's choirs. Life Friedrch was born in Elbing. As a boy he attracted attention by his singing abilities, so as soon he was developing himself as a flute player, and shortly thereafter as a violinist, he was sent to the orchestra of his native town, although his parents did not admitted that he had chosen the music as a career. Auguste Sophie Crelinger (widowed Stich, born Düring (7 October 1795 – 11 April 1865) was a German stage actress. Life Born in Berlin, Düring gained her first stage experience as a child with the theatre company ''Urania''. On the occasion of one of these performances she also made the acquaintance of Princess Charlotte von Karl August von Hardenberg, Hardenberg (former actress Langenthal). The latter applied to the theatre director August Wilhelm Iffland for Düring and after her successful debut on 4 May 1812 as Margarete (''Die Hagestolzen''), she was engaged and remained a member of the royal court theatre there until her last performance. Sophie Schröder
Sophie Antonie Luise Schröder (née Bürger) (1 March 1781 - 25 February 1868) was a German actress. She was born at Paderborn, the daughter of an actor, Gottfried Bürger. She made her first appearance in opera at St Petersburg, in 1793. On Kotzebue's recommendation she was engaged for the Vienna Court theatre in 1798, and here and in Munich and Hamburg she won great successes in tragic roles like Marie Stuart, Phèdre, Merope, Lady Macbeth, and Isabella in ''The Bride of Messina'', which gave her the reputation of being "the German Siddons." She retired in 1840 and lived in Augsburg and Munich until her death in 1868. She had married, in 1795, an actor, Stollmers (properly Smets), from whom she separated in 1799. In 1804 she married the tenor Friedrich Schröder, and after his death in 1818, she married the actor, Wilhelm Kunst in 1825.
