Elina Madison is an American actress, writer and producer. Early life Elina was born on September 27, 1976 in Sioux City, Iowa and showed a passion for acting at a very young age and knew early on that she was going to be an actress. At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career. Elina graduated the two-year theater training program at the Joanne Baron/DW Brown Acting Studio in Santa Monica, California. She also studied at The Stella Adler Academy and The Groundlings Comedy and later with Susan Strasberg. With her unique looks born from her Mexican/Spanish/Norwegian/Czech heritage, she was signed by the prestigious Elite Model Agency and began a career as an international fashion model. ''1000 Ways to Die'' is an American anthology television series that aired on Spike from May 14, 2008 to July 15, 2012, and also aired on Comedy Central during its run. The program recreates unusual supposed deaths, true events, and debunked urban legends, and includes interviews with real medical experts who describe the science behind each death. Up until the end of season one, the final story of each episode showed actual footage of dangerous situations that ''almost'' ended in death, along with interviews of those involved in the situations. A portion of these deaths have been nominated for or have received a Darwin Award. ''Black Tie Nights'' is a softcore drama anthology series which aired on Cinemax in the United States from 2004 to 2005. This anthology show revolved around the adventures of Olivia Hartley and Cooper Snow who ran Black Tie dating service. They were assisted by their geeky sidekick, Ryan Lundy.
