''High Maintenance'' is a television and web series created by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, which premiered its first season online on Vimeo on November 9, 2012. 19 webisodes of ''High Maintenance'' have been released. These episodes have since migrated from Vimeo to HBO under the title “High Maintenance Web Series”. In 2016, ''High Maintenance'' moved to HBO. ''High Maintenance'' is an American Anthology series, anthology comedy-drama television show, television and web series, web series created by ex-husband and wife team Ben Sinclair (actor), Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld. The show follows The Guy, a cannabis courier (played by Sinclair), as he delivers his product to clients in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Each episode focuses on different characters as their lives intersect with The Guy. The full series consists of six web series followed by four television seasons, released from November 2012 to April 2020. Isaac Oliver (born in Baltimore, Maryland) is an author, playwright and on-stage comic known for his debut humor collection. Early life and education Oliver studied playwriting at Sarah Lawrence College and graduated from the Carver Center for Arts and Technology, which he later called "a magical place, a haven for weird, expressive kids who like to sob in stairwells." He was a 2013 MacDowell Colony fellow. Career After college, Oliver moved to Manhattan, worked at a theatre box office and started a blog about his daily life, ultimately performing material from the blog for his friends.
