Eliezer Gomes
Eliezer Gomes (1920–1979) was a Brazilian actor. Born in Santo Antônio de Pádua or Conceição de Macabu, he debuted on Roberto Farias' 1962 film ''O Assalto ao Trem Pagador''. In 1975, he won the Gramado Film Festival Best Actor Award for his performance on Walter Hugo Khouri's ''O Anjo da Noite''. Roberto Farias (27 March 1932 – 14 May 2018) was a Brazilian film director, producer and screenwriter. He directed 15 films during his career. His 1982 film '' Pra Frente, Brasil'' was entered into the 33rd Berlin International Film Festival. Walter Hugo Khouri (São Paulo, 21 October 1929 – São Paulo, 27 June 2003) was a Brazilian film director, screenwriter, and producer of Lebanese and Italian descent. Khouri made 25 feature films and won several national and international awards. His 1964 film '' Empty Night'' is considered one of the best Brazilian films of all time and was entered for the Palm d'Or in the 1965 Cannes Film Festival.
