Elierce Barbosa De Souza
Elierce Barbosa de Souza or simply Souza (; born 8 March 1988, in Posse) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Náutico, as a defensive midfielder. Career Souza began his career playing for various teams in the Federal District, as Ceilândia, Brasília and Dom Pedro. He made his first team debut for the former on 25 August 2007 in a 0–1 home loss against Capital and scored his first goal in a 2–0 home win against Renovo. He faced several difficulties, such as living with hunger, sometimes going to training without breakfast, not having enough to eat. He thought of giving up the dream of being a player and for a time did: he gave up football and returned to Posse, his hometown, to work as a bricklayer. Posse, Goiás
Posse is a municipality in northeastern Goiás state, Brazil. It is located northeast of Brasília, 24 km from the state boundary with Bahia, on interstate highway BR-020 (Brasília-Salvador). History The town of Posse arose with the arrival of Northeastern migrants fleeing the drought in search of fertile lands in the mid-19th century. Among the pioneers there were many descendants of Argentinians and Portuguese and many of the streams and rivers had names remembering those far away lands—Rio Corrente, Rio Prata, and Porto Buenos Aires. The settlement was first called Buenos Aires, located below the joining of the Rio Corrente with the Rio Paranã. 2010 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
In 2010, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second level of the Brazilian League, was contested by 20 clubs from May 7 to November 27, 2010. The top four teams in the table, former Brazilian Série A champions Coritiba and Bahia alongside Figueirense and América (MG), were promoted to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A to be contested in 2011, meanwhile the bottom four were relegated to Série C next season. Season Série A Palmeiras started well the campaign in the Série A, and led the tournament for 19 rounds, unfortunately the team failed to keep the good results and after a 3–1 away win against Santos, only winning 9 points in 11 matches. Palmeiras ended in 5th place, it was a disappointing result for a team that played well during almost the entire season and wanted to win the first brazilian title since 1994. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. Vanderlei Luxemburgo da Silva (born 10 May 1952) is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player. He is currently a free agent. A left wingback, Luxemburgo represented Flamengo, Internacional and Botafogo before retiring in 1980. He subsequently became a coach and led Palmeiras, Corinthians, Cruzeiro and Santos to Série A titles, winning the tournament five times, a record total.
