Elhadji Malick Tall
Elhadji Malick Tall (born 25 January 1995) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Ansar. After playing for three seasons in Jordan, first for Al-Wehdat and then for Al-Ahli, he joined Lebanese side Ansar in 2017. He was the top scorer in the Lebanese Premier League in his first two seasons, scoring 15 and 20 goals respectively. In 2020, Tall joined Al-Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, where he was the Saudi Second Division top scorer with 22 goals in 2020–21. He returned to Ansar in 2022. Club career Al-Wehdat Tall played for Jordanian team Al-Wehdat for two seasons, scoring 15 league goals in total (eight in the first season and seven in the second). On 10 March 2015, he scored his first AFC Cup goal against Saudi club Al-Nahda in the group stage. Al Ansar Football Club ( ar, نادي الأنصار الرياضي, lit=The Supporters Sporting Club) is a Association football, football club based in Tariq El Jdideh, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the . 2019–20 Lebanese Premier League
The 2019–20 Lebanese Premier League was intended to be the 59th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1934. Al Ahed FC, Ahed were the three-time defending champions. Bourj FC, Bourj and Shabab El-Bourj SC, Shabab Bourj joined as the promoted clubs from the 2018–19 Lebanese Premier League. They replaced Bekaa SC, Bekaa and Racing Club Beirut, Racing, who were relegated to the 2019–20 Lebanese Second Division. The Al-Manar Football Festival () was an event organised by the Al-Manar television station between the 1996–97 and 2018–19 seasons in order to award players, managers, referees and teams who were considered to have performed the best over the previous Lebanese Premier League season. 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup
The 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup was the 47th edition of the national football cup competition of Lebanon. It started with the First Round on 12 October 2018 and concluded with the final on 25 May 2019. Defending champions Ahed beat Ansar in the final to win their second consecutive Lebanese FA Cup, their sixth in total. The winner qualified for the 2020 AFC Cup play-off round; however, as Ahed also won the Lebanese Premier League, the AFC Cup spot went to second-placed Ansar.
