Eley Kishimoto
Eley Kishimoto, is a British fashion and design company founded in 1992 by Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto. The London-based company is primarily known for its print design. The principal commercial activity of the company is womenswear fashion and accessories. History Mark Eley graduated from Brighton Polytechnic in 1990 with a BA in fashion and weave. Wakako Kishimoto graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1992 with a BA in fashion and print. They first met in 1989 while interning in New York, and founded Eley Kishimoto in 1992, by producing prints for other designers including Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, Jil Sander and Marc Jacobs. In 1996 the partnership created their first womenswear collection. Alexander McQueen
Lee Alexander McQueen CBE (17 March 1969 – 11 February 2010) was a British fashion designer and couturier. He founded his own Alexander McQueen label in 1992, and was chief designer at Givenchy from 1996 to 2001. His achievements in fashion earned him four British Designer of the Year awards (1996, 1997, 2001 and 2003), as well as the CFDA's International Designer of the Year award in 2003. McQueen died from suicide in 2010 at the age of 40, at his home in Mayfair, London, shortly after the death of his mother. Jean Cacharel SA () is a French company of ready-to-wear clothing, perfume and accessories, founded in 1958 by Jean Bousquet. Cacharel designs are characterized by their youthful style, femininity, lightness, refinement, and use of bright colours. Cacharel is named after the local name of the garganey (''Anas querquedula'', a small duck) in the Camargue (cacharel, standard French sarcelle d'été). Hussein Chalayan, (; tr, Hüseyin Çağlayan ; born 12 August 1970) is a British-Cypriot fashion designer. He has won the British Designer of the Year twice (in 1999 and 2000) and was awarded the MBE in 2006. Chalayan is currently teaching at HTW Berlin. Early life and education Hussein Chalayan was born in Nicosia in 1970 and graduated from the Türk Maarif Koleji secondary school in his hometown.
