Eleonora Marchiando (born 27 September 1997) is an Italian athlete. She competed in the women's 400 metres event at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships. The 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships will be held from 2 to 5 March 2023 at the Ataköy Athletics Arena in Istanbul, Turkey, the first time the event has taken place in this country although the venue did stage the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2012 World Indoor Championships. The four-day competition will be held during the centenary year of the Republic of Turkey, and will feature 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events over three morning and four afternoon sessions. The Italian Athletics Championships ( it, Campionati italiani assoluti di atletica leggera) are the national championships in athletics, organised every year by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera. The first edition, four races only, was held in 1906 at Arena Civica in Milan, just after the foundation of the Federazione Podistica Italiana and with the organization of ''La Gazzetta dello Sport''. Since then, 110 editions were held with the only exceptions of the years 1915-1918 and 1944. During 1945, only athletes of Northern Italy could participate but FIDAL considered this edition as an official one. To the running races, in 1913 the field events were added.
