Elena Proskurakova
Elena Borisovna Proskurakova (russian: Елена Борисовна Проскуракова; born April 19, 1985, in Karakol) is a Kyrgyzstani judoka, who played for the half-heavyweight category. Career She is a five-time national judo champion for the 63 and 70 kg class. She also placed fifth at the 2011 Asian Judo Championships in Abu Dhabi, losing out to Japan's Yoshie Ueno in the bronze medal bout. Proskurakova represented Kyrgyzstan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed for the women's 78 kg class. She lost her first preliminary match to China's Yang Xiuli, who scored an automatic ippon at fifty-two seconds. Karakol
Karakol ( ky, Каракол, Karakol, قاراقول, ; zh, 卡拉科尔), formerly Przhevalsk (russian: Пржевальск), is the fourth-largest city in Kyrgyzstan, near the eastern tip of Lake Issyk-Kul, about from the Kyrgyzstan–China border and from the capital Bishkek. Yalennis Castillo Ramírez (born 21 May 1986) is a Cuban judoka. She was born in Moa, Holguín, Cuba on 21 May 1986. She practiced judo since she was a child. Castillo first won medals in the 2004 Pan American Championships and the Leonding Tournament in Austria. She won the silver medal in the women's team event of the 2006 World Team Championships and a bronze medal in the 2007 World Cup in Vienna, Austria. That year she also participated in the 2007 World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Castillo's greatest result was in the 2008, where Castillo won a silver medal in the 78 kg category at the 2008 Summer Olympics in a disputed match against the local contender Yang Xiuli.
