Olena Zubrilova ( uk, Олена Миколаївна Зубрилова, be, Алена Зубрылава ''Alena Zubrylava'', russian: Елена Николаевна Зубрилова; born 25 February 1973 in Shostka, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian biathlete who has been competing for Belarus since 2002. Prior to that, she had competed for Ukraine from 1991 until she changed her citizenship to Belarus in 2002. Career Zubrilova has won a total of seventeen Biathlon World Championships medals in her career, including four gold (pursuit, individual, and mass start: all 1999; and mass start: 2002), five silvers (individual: 1997, 2003; sprint: 1997; pursuit: 1997 and team event: 1996), and eight bronzes (relay: 1996, 2000, 2001, and 2005; sprint: 1999 and 2005; individual: 2001; and team event: 1997). 2006 Winter Olympics
The 2006 Winter Olympics, officially the XX Olympic Winter Games ( it, XX Giochi olimpici invernali) and also known as Torino 2006, were a winter multi-sport event held from 10 to 26 February 2006 in Turin, Italy. This marked the second time Italy had hosted the Winter Olympics, the first being in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo; Italy had also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome. Turin was selected as the host city for the 2006 Games in June 1999. The official motto of Torino 2006 was "Passion lives here". The Games' logo depicted a stylized profile of the Mole Antonelliana building, drawn in white and blue ice crystals, signifying the snow and the sky. Holmenkollen () is a mountain and a neighbourhood in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It goes up to above sea level and is well-known for its international skiing competitions. Overview In addition to being a residential area, the area has been a ski recreation area since the late 19th century, with its famous ski jumping hill, the Holmenkollbakken, hosting competitions since 1892.
