Elena Myers Court (born November 21, 1993) is an American professional motorcycle racer. She made history in 2010 as the first female to win an AMA Pro Racing sprint road race. Elana Meyer, OIS, (born 10 October 1966) is a South African long-distance runner who won the silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in the 10,000 metres event. Meyer set the 15 kilometres road running African record of 46:57 minutes in November 1991 in Cape Town. The record was equalled by Mestawet Tufa in 2008. The record was beaten by Tirunesh Dibaba in 2009, who posted a new world record of 46.28 minutes. Meyer also held the half marathon African record (1:06:44 hours), set in January 1999 in Tokyo. Infineon Raceway
Sonoma Raceway (originally known as Sears Point Raceway from 1967 to 1980 and 1982 to 2002, Golden State International Raceway in 1981 and Infineon Raceway from 2002 to 2012) is a road course and dragstrip located at Sears Point in the southern Sonoma Mountains of Sonoma County, California. AMA Supersport Championship
AMA Supersport is an American motorcycle racing series. The race series was founded and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1987. The road racing series allows motorcycles of up to 600cc engine capacity. The American Motorcycle Association uses member clubs, partners, and promoters to put together more competitive and recreational motorcycling events than anyone else in the country. Daytona Motorsports Group owns and manages the AMA Supersport Championship. In the AMA Supersport Championship, motorcyclists reach speeds over 160 miles per hour over a 40-mile sprint race. The 2010 AMA Pro Supersport Championship was the second running of the AMA Supersport Championship. Title sponsors for the series include Sunoco, Amsoil, National Guard, Dunlop, Speedcom and SunTrust.
